It's getting to be that time of year again where the weather is nice and the circumstances are just right to do outdoor photos again. Not too long ago though, I did complete a batch of photos for our friend that I still have yet to share. We took the photos at the Grand America, and they turned out fantastic. I just haven't had much time for blogging or really anything of that sort. Until I can share those photos with you though, here are some that I just finished up recently.
My sister and her husband just celebrated their fourth year wedding anniversary and wanted to do photos to celebrate the occasion. Last year on this same occasion, we did photos at Memory Grove when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. This year, we did photos at the downtown library where there is always plenty of architectural interest to add dimension to any photo. I love the way the photos turned out with just the sort of dreamy edit I'm such a sucker for.
About time we put up some more photos, eh? Well, it's certainly not for lack of taking photos, that's for sure. Anyway, these photos were taken of my niece early last Fall. We (my sister and I) had wanted to wait for the leaves to change but then couldn't wait any longer due simply to our excitement to do photos once more. Here are some of my favorites from that afternoon (obviously, I was feeling lazy about the formatting this time):
I was hoping to have taken family photos this year for the Christmas cards I was hoping to send out earlier this month, but it seems we just never had the time... I did, however, get the opportunity to take some photos of Colette in her Christmas dress and all of which you can see here. It's also looking like I'm not even going to have time to send out the card I've thrown together at the last minute it being so close to Christmas now. But I will, at least, get to include it with all of the Christmas cookies we will start to distribute Friday night. Here's what I've come up with for those of you who are curious to see.
And should we not have the opportunity to say so later on... HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE! AND, A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
